Lab Referral Process

The Lab Referral Process at BDL is designed to be seamless and efficient, ensuring that healthcare facilities can easily refer samples for expert diagnostic analysis.

01 | Initial Contact

Referring facilities should first contact BDL's client services team to initiate the referral process. This can be done via phone, email, or through our Contact Page.

02 | Referral Information

Comprehensive patient and specimen information must be provided, including patient demographics, clinical history, and specific tests requested. Accurate information is crucial for precise diagnostics.

03 | Sample Collection and Handling

BDL provides detailed guidelines on sample collection, preservation, and transportation to ensure specimen integrity. Our team is available to assist with any queries regarding best practices for sample handling.

04 | Submission

Samples can be submitted to BDL along with the referral information through secure courier services or direct drop-off at our facility. Electronic submissions of referral forms and patient information are encouraged through our online portal.

05 | Communication and Reporting

Once the samples are received, BDL processes them according to the highest standards. Referring facilities will receive regular updates on the sample status. Final reports are delivered through the preferred method - electronically via our portal or directly mailed, ensuring timely access to diagnostic results.

BDL is committed to supporting our referring partners every step of the way. Our client services team is always ready to provide assistance, from answering procedural questions to facilitating the interpretation of results
